In August 2026, the Bunopili team traveled to Las Vegas to participate in SuperZoo 2026, one of North America’s leading trade shows for the pet industry.
For us, SuperZoo was more than simply another exhibition. It was an important opportunity to introduce Bunopili to the North American market, meet pet industry professionals face-to-face, and show how smart technology can make aquarium, terrarium, and habitat management easier, cleaner, and more integrated.
Bringing the Bunopili Ecosystem to SuperZoo
At our booth, we presented a wide range of products representing the direction Bunopili is building toward: an integrated ecosystem of smart equipment for modern habitats.
One of the main products on display was our Smart Habitat Control System, designed to simplify the traditionally complicated setup required for rainforest terrariums and other controlled habitats.
Instead of relying on multiple independent devices, timers, controllers, and power supplies, the system integrates key habitat functions into a unified platform and allows users to manage them through the Bunopili Habitat App.
Visitors were able to see solutions including:
- Smart Habitat Control Systems
- RGB and RGBW aquarium lighting
- Freshwater planted aquarium lighting
- Reef and marine aquarium lighting
- Smart misting systems
- Misting reservoirs and pumps
- Adjustable misting nozzles
- Smart ventilation systems
- Water pumps
- Temperature and humidity monitoring
- Smart cameras and sensors
- Ultra-clear habitat systems
All of these products reflect the same idea behind Bunopili:
Make sophisticated habitat equipment easier to install, control, and understand.
A Strong Response from the Industry
Throughout the show, we had the opportunity to speak with aquarium stores, reptile and terrarium businesses, distributors, manufacturers, professional keepers, and hobbyists from across the United States and other markets.
Many visitors were particularly interested in the level of integration between our hardware and software.
Questions were not limited to individual products. We frequently discussed complete systems, distribution opportunities, retail pricing, production capacity, minimum order quantities, certifications, and future product development.
This was particularly encouraging because Bunopili is not intended to become simply another equipment manufacturer producing isolated pumps, lights, or accessories.
Our goal is to develop a connected habitat platform.
Lighting, misting, ventilation, environmental sensors, pumps, cameras, and other equipment should eventually work together rather than operate as completely separate products.
SuperZoo gave us an opportunity to communicate that vision directly.
From Aquarium Technology to Complete Habitats
Our experience in the aquarium industry has heavily influenced the way we design Bunopili products.
Modern aquarium equipment has become increasingly intelligent over the past several years. App-controlled lighting, programmable pumps, automated dosing, and monitoring systems have transformed the way advanced aquariums are maintained.
However, many terrarium, paludarium, rainforest, and exotic pet habitats still require users to assemble equipment from multiple unrelated brands.
A typical setup can require separate systems for lighting, misting, water circulation, ventilation, temperature and humidity monitoring, cameras, timers, and power management.
We believe there is a better approach.
Bunopili is applying the experience gained from smart aquarium equipment to a much broader range of living environments.
Instead of designing individual products first and thinking about integration later, we are developing hardware, software, and control systems as part of the same ecosystem.
More Than a Trade Show
One of the most valuable parts of SuperZoo was simply listening.
Speaking directly with retailers and experienced keepers gave us valuable feedback about tank sizes, lighting requirements, UVB integration, installation methods, replacement parts, retail packaging, product positioning, and the differences between aquarium and reptile markets.
Some conversations focused on products that are already available.
Others focused on products that do not exist yet.
Both are equally important.
For a young brand, exhibitions are not only places to sell products. They are opportunities to understand what professionals actually need and where existing products still create unnecessary complexity.
That feedback will directly influence future Bunopili development.
Built by Our Own Team
Behind the products displayed at SuperZoo is our own development and manufacturing operation in Ningbo, China.
Our team works across product development, electronics, software, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, testing, sales, and international distribution.
Having hardware development, software development, and manufacturing closely connected allows us to iterate quickly and develop products as complete systems rather than isolated components.
The Bunopili Habitat App is another important part of this strategy.
As our ecosystem expands, the app will continue evolving into the central interface for controlling and monitoring compatible Bunopili equipment.
Our long-term objective is simple:
One habitat. One ecosystem. One intelligent control experience.
Our First Steps in North America
SuperZoo 2026 also represented another important milestone for Bunopili as we continue expanding internationally.
North America has one of the world's largest communities of aquarium, reptile, amphibian, terrarium, and exotic pet enthusiasts, making it an important market for the future of our brand.
We know that building a new brand takes time.
It requires good products, reliable manufacturing, responsive support, strong retail partners, and most importantly, trust.
SuperZoo was one more step in that process.
We are grateful to everyone who visited our booth, tested our products, shared feedback, discussed distribution opportunities, or simply stopped to talk about aquariums, terrariums, reptiles, plants, frogs, fish, and the habitats we all enjoy building.
What's Next for Bunopili?
SuperZoo may be over, but our development roadmap is only becoming larger.
We will continue expanding our product ecosystem across several major categories:
Smart Habitats
Integrated equipment for terrariums, rainforest habitats, paludariums, reptiles, amphibians, and other controlled environments.
Freshwater Aquariums
Advanced RGB, RGBW, and high-output lighting alongside intelligent aquarium equipment.
Marine & Reef Aquariums
Multi-channel reef lighting and equipment designed for increasingly sophisticated marine systems.
Smart Monitoring & Automation
Sensors, cameras, environmental monitoring, automated control, and deeper interaction between devices.
At the same time, we will continue improving the Bunopili Habitat App and building stronger distribution and retail partnerships around the world.
See You at the Next Show
SuperZoo 2026 was an important chapter for Bunopili, but it is only the beginning.
We returned from Las Vegas with new connections, new ideas, valuable feedback, and an even clearer understanding of where we want to take the brand.
To everyone who visited us at SuperZoo:
Thank you for being part of the beginning of Bunopili.
We look forward to showing you what comes next.
Bunopili
Smart Technology for Living Habitats.
